We shear our angoras twice a year, in the spring before kidding and in the fall before breeding .  We maintain a consistent schedule of de-licing treatments to ensure that our goats have minimal lice (you can never fully get rid of them), we also keep our pastures free of burdocks and other debris that can snag the fleece.  Once sheared we skirt the fleece in order to remove debris and the dirtiest and least attractive parts of the fleece.

We typically sell mohair raw as a full fleece.  Most often we have kid to adult grade mohair in stock in a variety of colors.
